Mulatto Muscle is more than just a brand, it is a movement. Being bi-racial, I wanted to give mulatto people a platform to know that you do not have to choose a side. Growing up as a child, there were a lot of times where I suffered from identity issues. It forced me to believe that I had to be one side or another. When you would enroll in school they would list you as black, some black people didn’t accept you as being black enough, and some white people didn’t accept you because you had black in you. This is my platform to reach all the kids in the world that might be suffering from identity issues and feeling as if they must only accept one side of their DNA. My message to those children of the world is, It is perfectly fine being exactly who you are. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone or feel like you out it to anybody to choose a side.
Also, this is a chance for me to help people who have been in an unfortunate situation as I have been. No one can explain the pain and devastation of losing a child. With sales, I would like to donate a portion of proceeds to help those who have lost a child. Rather it is with funeral expenses, Counseling, or whatever may help those people in their time of need. About 29,000 children under the age of five – 21 each minute – die every day. Unfortunately, this is a reality that people face that no one wants to ever experience. Truth of the matter is, it happens and I want to help those people involved know that they have support and there is a community out here that understands their pain.
Having experienced this devastation first hand, these donations will be in the made in the name of my daughter, Joy Janay Brophy. Thank you so much for your support and helping to make a difference in people’s lives when they need it most.
Any and all support will help build on to my dreams and help me do my part in the world. I thank you so much for your time and I wish you a wonderful day!
